Comfortable, spacious and well equipped six bedroom self-catering holiday cottage,
set in beautiful open countryside, just 15 minutes from the beach and from the Pembrokeshire
Coastal Path. The house is detached and spacious and easily accommodates 12 adults
and is ideal for family holidays and short breaks in Wales. It has a Visit Wales
4 star classification, which is designated as 'excellent standard throughout'. You
can also bring your dogs on holiday by prior arrangement. Haroldston is a traditional
Welsh farmhouse, probably built in the 17th century. A Victorian wing was added later.
Haroldston's central location in Pembrokeshire makes it ideal for exploration of
this wonderful and diverse county. For example, those who are looking for a walking
holiday in Wales have easy access to the whole of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from
this base. Similarly, sightseers can get to St Davids & Fishguard as easily as Tenby
and Saundersfoot. Pembrokeshire's numerous attractions and events are also close
by
It has a large traditional kitchen, with a table big enough to seat everyone. The
kitchen is well equipped, with large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and gas
cooker with double oven. The utility room houses the washing machine, tumble drier,
ironing facilities and freezer. There are 2 sitting rooms, both comfortably furnished
with leather suites. One is equipped with television, DVD player and Freeview, which
is complete with a Personal Video Recorder (PVR) enabling the saving of 20 hours
of programmes. There is a collection of discs for children and adults. It has an
open fire with a supply of logs. The other room has a hi-fi system, complete with
CD and tape player and a comprehensive library of around 150 books which we hope
cater for all tastes. The games room also has a TV, video and Freeview tuner plus
a portable radio/CD player. There is a dartboard and a proper full sized bar pool
table. The games cupboard includes various other pass-times , such as jigsaws, Monopoly,
Cluedo, children’s toys and video tapes
The 6 bedrooms consist of 2 doubles with King-sized beds, 2 twins, 1 single and 1
room with 3 singles. If the house is required by 6 couples, the single room can easily
be converted to a twin (advanced notice would be appreciated). One of the twins has
an adjacent bathroom, with a shower, and is situated on the ground floor (access
to the games room is via this bedroom). There are 2 further bathrooms upstairs, one
with a shower and one with a bath. Both have WCs.All rooms are centrally heated.
We supply all bed-linen and towels, with regular changes. Heating, gas and electricity
is included. The Farmhouse has a private and secure garden, equipped with barbecue
and children’s swing. There is ample car parking space within the courtyard.
