Downstairs: This property oozes grandeur and character from the moment you step in the self catering holiday home with its dominating hand crafted walnut staircase. The lounge has ample comfy seating within this luxurious space that enjoys an open fire and digital TV. The kitchen/dining areas are very light and spacious and filled with sunlight with views to the garden and pool. The children’s lounge has its own, TV, DVD player, consoles and games.

Upstairs: The FIVE bedrooms are arranged as follows:

The large garden is reached through the kitchen, the outdoor swimming pool offers a complete sun trap with tropical planting adding to the ambience. There is also an outside toilet and changing room with plenty of chairs and sun loungers dotted around the pool. A large outdoor dining table on the copious patio which comfortably seats ten, alongside a barbeque, outdoor gas heater ensures you can enjoy those long hot Cornish summer evenings.

The large garden is very tranquil when the children are not using the tree house, zip wire, football post and trampoline. Enough to keep the most discerning of guest occupied. From September to June B&B is available. We also provide internet access.

Shop in the magnificent town centre, Truro has everything from large stores, through to elegant boutiques,lovely gift shops and a myriad of restaurants, catering for every taste. Explore Cornwalls many miles of beautiful coastline, from luxurious sandy beaches to picturesque harbour villages, untouched by time. Visit splendid gardens and historic locations, which Cornwall has many of. Walk along the many scenic bridleways and footpaths that meander through this beautiful county. Alternatively enjoy water sports, including surfing and sailing on the many beautiful stretches of beaches that trail along the Cornish coastline.

The house is stunning, with some wonderful features such as the master bedroom ensuite and kids bathroom. All the bedrooms were a great size. Very comfortable house with all mod cons but a lovely family feel. We love Truro and being so close to the city was very handy. St Clements is extremely picturesque and the views from the house are lovely. So many beautiful beaches are within easy driving distance. Sad to leave. Rating 5 out of 5, Sarah & Richard, Jan 2010.

The House is large and suites a large family or friends, or even dare I say relations. The swimming pool is safe and heated , the lawns are ideal for games and the property beautifully situated near to Truro. Fantastic gas Aga for the cooks amongst you . We all had a great time. Firstly, it's a stunning house. Everything I would expect from a Cornish country property. Fabulous fireplaces and bathrooms, an Aga, large, comfortable rooms, plus the benefits of being 5 minutes from Truro with a stunning swimming pool and garden. Rating 5 out of 5, Jan 2010, Wendy.

I couldn't recommend this property enough! It's large and luxurious and because of all the extras, swimming pool, trampoline, swings, cats and fish etc you can keep a big family occupied even if the weather isn't doing what it should. The house has been beautifully furnished and decorated, Judy has applied a classic elegant style to every room. The rooms are large and comfortable, as are the beds, there's so many rooms they could accommodate a whole extended family, the kids love running up and down the grand staircase. The kitchen/breakfast room is well stocked with a lovely (I found easy to use) aga whilst windows everywhere make this room light and bright, you could spend all your time just here. Owners Judy and Chris are most charming and charitable and go out of their way to make you feel at home. If you want a place that feels like a home from home (but in most cases a lot bigger) than I couldn't recommend this place more and it's location in Truro is second to none, right in the centre so close to shops and sights, easy to find but also a short drive to most coastal areas in Cornwall, a great base with a great atmosphere.
