Converted in 2007, this holiday cottage is a traditional stone building that combines 18th century character with 21st century luxury and style. Set in the beautiful rolling Herefordshire countryside, it offers a stunning large venue for family gatherings and group holidays. Situated five miles west of Ross-on-Wye, close to Symonds Yat, Forest of Dean and Offa's Dyke. It is especially well placed for some of the country's finest racecourses. Cheltenham is only 45 minutes away, but we also have Hereford, Ludlow, Chepstow, Warwick and Worcester, all within one hour's drive.
Herefordshire Holiday Cottage sleeps up to sixteen guests in eight en-suite bedrooms and has been awarded 5 stars by the English Tourism Council. There is a walled garden with games room and covered jacuzzi and a five acre coarse fishing lake. Disabled facilities including stairlift and two specially adapted ensuite bedrooms. In the property there is also a sitting room, TV lounge including wood burner & DVD, fully equipped kitchen including two dishwashers, dining room, laundry room, secure storage for bicycles, fishing rods etc.

The Walled Garden is secluded and enjoys an open view of the Black Mountains. The Jacuzzi is housed in an oak framed building with glass panels. It can accommodate up to six adults and provides an ideal place in which to relax and view the garden. The Games Room provides table tennis and a pool table to keep our younger guests occupied. There is a kitchen area, toilet and shower. The Wooden Deck is furnished with enough seating for everyone, two large tables and a suitably large gas barbecue. The Lawn is perfect for football or cricket and has some outdoor toys. Football, football posts, tennis rackets, cricket bat and balls are provided. The Coarse Fishing Lake is located about 500 metres from the Granary. Extending to five acres, with a smaller conservation pond, and well stocked with carp, bream, tench and other silver fish, it provides popular sport in a picturesque setting. Guests must provide their own fishing equipment and licence.
Two travel cots, two high chairs, two stairgates and a fireguard are available on request, but please bring your own cot linen. A baby sitting service may be available by pre-arrangement. A wireless Internet connection is provided. If you don't want to cook for yourselves, we can arrange the services of a caterer and we can arrange for a local beauty therapist to visit the Granary to provide facials, massages and pampering. |
