It is the ideal country location for family and group of friends for a special holiday or celebration. Located just 5 miles from junction 38 on the M6 in tranquil surroundings. The area is bounded by the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Pennines and the Mountains of the Lake District, and possesses a wealth of interesting locations and offers a wide choice of activities. The area has every kind of outdoor pursuit from fell walking, pony trekking, golf and fishing.
Ashley Cottage and Beach Tree Cottage sleeps up to 16 people and are rented together for large group family holidays. The garden comprises 3/4 acre of lawn and orchard. Covered patio ideal for barbecue, picnic, parties and play area for children. The accommodation available is as follows:
Ashley Cottage: sleeps 12 in 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It is fully furnished and equipped to a high standard with great emphasis on comfort and warmth. There is 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom; 2 family bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms; 2 twin bedrooms with shared bathroom. The dining room seats 14/16 and the large sitting room has a cast iron gas burning stove, Sky TV, video, DVD, and music centre. The kitchen is very well equipped with a 6 burner gas cooker, microwave oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer and plenty of large pots and pans, crockery and cutler to cater for large groups. There are also laundry and drying facilities and the cottage is fully centrally heated. There is space for up to 7 cars parking.
Beach tree Cottage: sleeps 2 or 4 people in 1 double bedroom en-suite, plus a double bed settee in the lounge.
