Nestling in the folds of the Cam Valley, these Farm self catering cottages look out towards the surrounding countryside from the Mendip Hills down to the Somerset Coal Canal basin in the depths of the valley. The three cottages are at the heart of the Farm, a working dairy farm dating back to the 18th Century. The farm lies one mile from the village of Timsbury situated between Bath and Bristol. The cottages have been sympathetically restored from stone farm buildings to provide delightful accommodation for 21st century living. Original stone and joinery have been re-used where possible and traditional methods used to bring the buildings back to their former glory. The area is a great place to enjoy your holiday. From the grandeur of Bath to the delightful small villages to be discovered there are activities to keep everyone occupied. Many sports including golf, horse riding and swimming are available in the vicinity. Shopping in Bristol and Bath is close at hand and of course the historic legacies of both cities are open for all to explore.
All three cottages have a fully fitted kitchen area with oven/hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. You will find a digital TV and DVD player for your use in the living room. Heating is supplied by a wood burning stove and the luxury of underfloor heating throughout. The underfloor heating is fired by a geo-thermal heat pump providing eco-friendly energy. There is a private garden area to the rear of each property from where you can admire the views and relax. Garden chairs and a table are provided. The piggery building in the farm yard houses the laundry, sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes airer.
