Holiday Reviews from the Independent Review site that the Owners Use

We stayed in East Cottage and what a week it was. The greeting from Sue, the beautiful, beautiful views, the garden and of course the home from home cottage. The peace and quiet was lovely, just sitting in the garden listening to the Buzzards and watching them flying high above the forest. . . . . . BLISS!!!! We were fortunate that Sue let us bring our four legged member of the family and even provided us with a cage for him!! Rock buns on arrival were scrummy and the fresh flowers were also lovely. If you get a chance definitely visit The Mole House in Kelso, well worth a visit. Had a lovely afternoon at Hirsel Country Park followed by a nice bite to eat in the Tea Room there. If you get chance to stay up until its really dark and it’s a clear night then do it, the starry sky is AWESOME, we were out early morning and seen 3 shooting stars, also listen out for the Tawny owls late on, really special :-) The surrounding area is fab and down by the river in Kelso is lovely watching the Herons flying sooo close to the water. All in all it has been a fantastic week and we will definitely be booking again. Ohh, I also filled the bird feeders and the amount of birds that came to feed was brilliant and I'm almost sure that we had a visit from a Willow Warbler :-))

it was our 5th visit and we cannot wait to return. The cottages are warm clean and tidy. We always receive a warm welcome from Sue. Its wonderful we can take our dogs with us . The walks are enjoyable around this area

Sue and Henry have made a master-class in renting out their holiday cottages. The standard and quality of their cottages is exceptional with stunning views and peaceful location. The very warm welcome we received from Sue started our holiday off to a fabulous week and all the little extras provided in the cottage made our holiday to the Scottish Borders a trip to remember. We hope to return in the future and would definitely recommend Hendersyde Farm Cottages.
