Holiday Reviews from the Owners' site
- "WOW! Just to say a BIG THANK YOU! We have had such a lovely time. From the moment we all arrived in a whirlwind of children's chaos (sticky sweet caught up in hair, missing shoe) you just step into a place of calm relaxation, where everything has been thought of in advance and is just to hand. No comprise on the decor - it is beautifully furnished. From the excitement of the children discovering the play castle(something to do with Robin Hoods Stride) in the kids secret garden to the wildlife on the local walks (alpacas, hairy cows, mythical fairies) to piling onto the huge sofas to watch the latest DVDs (filmed at Chatsworth) - such attention to detail. We loved it, we got it and we did not want to leave. As our friends said, "it is like a childhood memory of what a perfect family holiday is!" SC, Aug 09
"This place was just perfect, we didn't have to worry about the children & they had lots to do! So we could do lots too!" MO, June 09
"Thanks for a lovely time! Beautiful house! Had a brilliant weekend with the girls and want to come back soon. Great walks too." DL, May 09
"What a great house! Very well equipped and beautifully furnished, Lovely garden and the trampoline was a nice surprise!" JA, May 09
"Lovely place, brilliantly equipped, lots of nice extra touches, great garden for kids & adults. We all had a fantastic weekend." ND, April 09
"A very enjoyable week in a wonderful house. Very comfortable & extremely well equipped. Even the caterers were impressed! We had some pleasant walks and the children had plenty to do." JS, Kent, one week holiday.
- "Everybody enjoyed themselves enormously. All the grandchildren indulged in tantrums when it was time to leave." PB, New Zealand (National Director of Fire Service), 10 days, New Year 2009/10.
