We can recommend this property to anyone who wants a modern and luxurious stay in a beautiful rural part of England. The property is spacious and with all modern equipment you can think off. all new and in good working order. Our son was most pleased with the huge lcd screen. We also used the private "gym" downstairs a lot with a pool/snooker billiard, table tennis and fitness equipment. Very nice and quiet is the "sun room", a sort of balcony with huge windows which you can open. Location is perfect for visits to London, Oxford ,Arundel castle and the south Coast. We also would like to thanks our hosts for the very good care we got. Rating 5 out of 5, Rob, Aug 2010.
I spent five nights at the Lodge with my husband and 6 year old daughter in April this year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge as well as the friendly hosts and stunning surroundings which helped make it a memorable stay. The Lodge was beautifully appointed and everything was spotless which could not be said for a number of the other places (of supposedly similar quality) that we stayed in during our five weeks in the U.K. Our hosts were not only welcoming but also extremely helpful whenever we required something. A highlight for my daughter was playing with their lovely dogs, Barzak and Bonzo. I can highly recommend a stay there and will most certainly return should I visit the area again! The Lodge is a very fine house, situated on a beautiful spot. It has all the luxury you would wish: two very nice bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, dryer and washing machine. It is a very spacious house, surrounded by a very large landscape garden and (wood)lands. We have got two little children: they had all the room they needed and loved to walk around the house. We all felt at home immediately. We have been at the Lodge twice and had a very good time! Rating 5 out of 5 (no doubt about that...:-), Evelyn, Aug 2010.
The property is luxurious and is in beautiful grounds. The owners and their family were very welcoming and made us feel very at home. We visited with our 1 year old daughter, and a travel cot had been assembled and a high chair, travel cot and bedding were provided. The property had been made safe for children which made our stay even more relaxing. Rating 5+ out of 5, Gemma, Aug 2010.
The Lodge is the most beautiful holiday flat we ever have had. Sally and Julien the owners have been so welcoming and helpful. The kids loved the games room and the really big flatscreen TV a lot. Sally welcomed us in the beautiful and very clean and comfortable flat with a homemade fresh baked bread and fresh milk - thanks for that again! Rating 5 out of 5, Iris, Aug 2010.
