La Petite Maison is a beautiful self catering holiday cottage located in the Dordogne countryside in south west France. The holiday accommodation is a traditional whitewashed dordogne villa and can accommodate up to eight people in its four bedrooms; making it the ideal holiday gite for families. The cottage has been carefully refurbished over a number of years whilst retaining many of its original features. There is a large, comfortably furnished sitting room complete with wood burner, TV (UK channels) and video, a CD/tape player, together with many books, games and videos available for your use. The dining room has a large oak dining table which leads to a spacious, fully equipped kitchen and then into a sunny garden room. On the ground floor there is a large master bedroom with king size bed and new en suite bathroom. There is also a shower room with shower, wash hand basin and WC on the ground floor, off the hall.
Upstairs there is a double room, a twin bedroom and a study area with two further single beds. The garden is secluded and privateThere is a BBQ, together with table and chairs for long, relaxing meals 'al fresco'. There is a courtyard at the back of the house with a gated arch to the swimming pool8m long and 5.3m wide, together with a sun terrace with sun beds, surrounded by a private wooded garden. The depth of the pool is a constant 1.5m, an ideal place to relax and cool off. The pool is fitted with an approved alarm (for French regulations) for your security. Most of the garden is grass, with areas for boules and badminton, or shady areas to simply sit and relax. The gite has private parking for 2 or more cars.
