Holiday Home Accommodation Summary (FR301)
Relax and play in this 3 -7 bedroomed rustic barn conversion with private pool in rural south west france.
This sunny Barn is a little piece of rural heaven in a fabulous setting with views over rolling hills, vineyards and woodland, offering the perfect retreat from busy lives. Peace, tranquillity space and views combine with all mod cons and extensive baby and child friendly facilities to make this a special place for everyone to unwind from the moment they arrive. A pre arrival grocery and baby items shopping service means everything can be ordered in advance so that relaxation really can begin the moment the car pulls up on the drive.
Once settled into the comfortable spacious renovated barn, the only dilemma is what to do next: Whether to chill by the pool with a glass of wine watching the little ones play in the warm shallows or wander the grounds to discover the outdoor play area with swings, slide, ride ons, tepee and play house, the animals to feed or the games equipment and bicycles, there is plenty on site inside and out to entertain all ages for at least two weeks!
And once the sun goes down, there are long balmy candle lit evenings, barbeques and local food and wine to be enjoyed, whilst the children are safely tucked up in bed. Sheer bliss!
The range of facilities and equipment provided is impressive even if this were a cluster of properties with shared resources but here at sunny barn they are exclusively for you!
Julie and Steve, the on-site English speaking owners offer a warm welcome and help and advice when you need it, but otherwise are discreet and largely invisible. They are on hand to offer tips and advice on local places to eat, drink, horse ride, kayak, or anything in between to make the most of precious holiday time.
"It's like an unspoilt Tuscany or Provence, and I'd better shut up now or I'll be responsible for spoiling it." Sam Taylor. The Observer.

Holiday Reviews from the Owners’ site
On waking on the first morning to the sound of a nightingale singing I knew we would like this place and was not disappointed. The house and our pied a terre ware well equipped for our three generations .Our hosts were invisible except on the rare occasion we wanted their recommendations as to where to visit /eat out. The whole region was wonderful despite having been to France maybe for a dozen holidays this was our first to the Lot and Garonne and will return.
This excellent roomy and spacious accommodation was well sheltered and was the home of 3 generations for 2 weeks in a hot August. The buildings are well shaded, and the patios and dining areas, of which there are 3, are well protected from direct sunlight. Everything is provided on the domestic front. There are plenty of extras provided to keep the children happy. The property is about 2 miles from the nearest small town, easily bikeable with the bikes provided, so it is peaceful yet close to normal facilities. The on site swimming pool was well used as was the english TV (it was Olympic time). Normal facilities, such as supermarkets, shops, and activities for children are within easy reach.
We stayed in July 2012 in the typical french farmhouse with all the luxery, sport equipment, toys for the children inclusive the football table and snooker table. Very nice swimmingpool with full day sunshine. Ideal location for exploring the region with very nice nightmarkets were you can enjoy the local food. Nearby big supermarket. The house was very clean and the area around the house was also very well kepped. We missed nothing in the place, we were more surprised about everything there was. The house is located at the end of a dead ending small way, so quit and with an astonishing view. We would like to thank the owners for their hospitality.
