The Lot Valley cottages comprise of one beautiful Lotois stone cottage and a converted barn, set in three acres of beautiful grounds just outside the hamlet of Labastide du Vert in the Lot region, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The gardens hide a magical discovery at every turn, from the small Indian village nestled near to the bamboo, to the trampoline, pirate ship sandpit, playhouse, climbing frame and swing. The pool is heated and fenced and has sunloungers and parasols and gazebos for two families and is set near to both properties. Whilst grownups relax, little ones can swim, run, play and explore, or for family adventures, the surrounding area holds magic and charm. The welcome folders detail local restaurants and fantastic places for great days out for all the family.

Much of what is offered at Pagel is offered at The Cotton House and Tiggy Cottage, from the wonderful outdoor facilities to an exciting toy box in each gite. Imaginative play and dressing up is part of the magic and there are many outfits to choose from… fairies, Snow White, Pirates, Cowboys…

Everything you may need as parents has been thought of from cots and high chairs to changing mats, baby monitors and baby gyms. We have an extensive list of all that we offer, everything you need practically to make sure your holiday is hassle free.

Both gites are well equipped including a dishwasher and washing machine:

The Cotton House (sleeps 4 + cot) in 2 bedrooms. Old stone steps climb to a stunning covered terrace overlooking the beautiful grounds and gardens, a wonderful setting for morning breakfast and special evening meals with a view. As you enter The Cotton House at first floor level, into a large open plan kitchen, dining lounge area you have a sense of real French farmhouse living. There are then stairs down to two bedrooms on the ground floor, one double and one twin  (sleeping two children in small single beds and one cot) along with a little play area (with a toy box) in the hallway which remains cool all summer long. There is a shower room with baby bath and separate toilet room.

Tiggy Cottage (sleeps 4 + cot) in 2 bedrooms. Is an old converted small barn with exposed stone brickwork and beams. Upon entering at ground level into an open plan lounge dining area you have the ability to walk out onto your own private terrace which is fenced for little ones and overlooks the grounds and gardens. There is a separate kitchen set off the lounge area and wooden stairs leading up the beamed high ceiling landing on first floor level. The cottage hosts two bedrooms, one double and one twin (sleeping two children in single beds and one cot) and compliment a large open plan bathroom with bath and shower.

What a lovely week we have had at Champs des Lombards!  There are more toys here then we have at home so Dylan, 15 months, was very happy. We will definitely be back here one day!

We had a wonderful holiday! It was so perfect here for our toddler Sonny 17 months. After a long drive it was very comforting to walk into Tiggy Cottage and Sonny was sooo excited by all the lovely toys for him to play with. The swimming pool was great and quite warm. All in all we had a fab holiday and will return with our new addition.

Wow what an amazing holiday!Weve had a wonderful time ,a great place to come as two families-loads of space for the 3 yr olds to roam independently and plenty to keep the toddling 1 year olds occupied too..! Very impressed with the high standards of all equipment and toys. The personalised “boy “ bedroom and “girl” bedroom was so lovely and very much appreciated. Having pushchairs is a great touch too-well know not to lug our buggy here next time. Really enjoyed sitting out on the gorgeous terrace eating fabulous food (thanks Teresa what a meal) and delicious local wine. Thanks for everything cannot wait to come back again.
