Our friendly guest house is situated in Foix in the heart of the Ariege and is ideal as a base for exploring the region. As well as rooms, we also have a yoga studio and run mountain biking trips. Set on a hillside with lovely views, just walking distance from Foix, the principal market town of the Ariege, our guesthouse is a great place to base yourself for exploring all that the Ariege and the Pyrenees have to offer, from hiking, mountain biking, skiing, climbing, yoga and country walks.
We run Hatha and Yin yoga classes and yoga holidays and retreats for all levels in our beautiful, peaceful studio. Whether you are a beginner who wants to discover yoga, or someone with experience looking to develop your practice, we can run a class/holiday to suit you. You can also experience sensational mountain biking in the Pyrenees. The Ariege is becoming a major destination for mountain biking with hundred of kilometres of trails from single track descents to forest trails. Here we offer day rides, bike hire and longer holidays to suit all levels of rider.
With lovely views of the surrounding countryside, we offer warm, family-friendly accommodation with both bed and breakfast rooms and a self-catering apartment that sleeps 4-7. The self-contained apartment has two ensuite bedrooms (a double and a twin), a living/dining area and kitchenette and is let on a self-catering basis. Upon request an extra single bed can be put in the double room, and a futon can be put in the living area (so sleeps 7 max). All our guesthouse rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. Two of them are en-suite rooms and another two share a bathroom with bath and shower.
Outside we have a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by decking, which is open from May through to September. There’s also a terraced garden with hammocks, and a BBQ area, perfect for those long summer evenings watching the sun go down. Guests have use of a kitchenette, equipped with a fridge, two hobs, microwave and grill, and there is a gas BBQ in the garden too. There is also a comfortable living/dining area with TV/DVD player (and a huge selection of films). There is also free Wi-Fi access. A cot is available (free of charge), and other baby equipment and toys, upon request.
We also provide delicious, home-cooked evening meals. We use local/organic produce where possible and many of the vegetables comes direct from our garden. You’ll really feel like you’re on holiday when we serve you your dinner out on the decking in the evening. |
