Bluebell Cottage: This property and site had everything we needed and more. In excellent condition and a superb situation and contained all anybody could want. We never had to use the staff for anything because everything was perfect but I have no doubt from the greeting we received that they would have been more than helpful. We will be back!!!! Rating 5 out of 5, Douglas, Jun 2011

Shamrock Cottage: Just returned from a 3 night stay in Shamrock cottage! Beautiful decor, surroundings and the perfect place to get away from everyday life! The cottage was immaculate and every need catered for! All 4 cottages are well situated on the site with easy access to the main reception to make use of the hot tub! My 2 yr old daughter made great use of the on site park. Beautiful views over the lough, the perfect place to have a BBQ! Very friendly approach both over the phone and in person by the owners. I would definitely recommend Irish Cottages to a friend and will be looking forward to booking with them in the future. I honestly did not want to leave! Rating 5 out of 5, Karen, May 2011

Clover Cottage: We have stayed in the cottage for a weekend in May. The accommodation was very good (just the way it has been described in the website). The location very peaceful with lovely view on to open farmlands and the lake located within a stone's throw. We had a lovely time there and especially enjoyed the farm animals (cows and sheep) who came to visit us occassionally.:) The location is pefect if you want to travel to the lovely towns of Beleak and Ballyshanon. It is also close to the Marble Arch Caves. Would recommend it to anyone who likes peace and quiet and enjoys nature. Rating 5 out of 5, Dovile, May 2011.

The Cottage was set in beautiful scenery near to a lake and the cottage itself was nicely decorated, well equipped and immaculately clean. The location benefits from being near to the border in Ireland so we spent some days exploring Fermanagh and others in Donegal so it was nice to be able to choose. It felt like a very safe place to bring children and ours loved the hot tub on site. The owners were very friendly and accomodating- the perfect hosts! The only reason I would not give it 5 stars is because we had to drive to shops/pubs yet many would fully appreciate the seclusion I am sure. Rating 4 out of 5, Lisa, Apr 2011

We stayed at bluebell cottage for a long weekend, there was myself my husband and 13 year old son, we all had a wonderfully relaxing break and some good days out, the cottage was beautiful and the surrounding countryside was breathtaking. we had a beautiful welcome and would recommend these cottages to all our friends and family and will most certainly be back. Rating 5 out of 5, Sandra, Mar 2011.

Bluebell Cottage: Fab cottage a real home from home, has everything needed for a relaxing break away. Rating 5 out of 5, Kellie, Mar 2011.

Stunning peaceful, private location. Cottages decorated beautifully and to a high standard. We wanted for nothing they have it all covered. Friendly owners and efficient service from the moment we emailed enquiring. Would definetly recommend. Well worth the 5 stars ***** out of 5, Mr & Mrs Miller, Mar 2011

We went here for New Year and the house and the welcome could not have been warmer. Sitting watching the mist coming off the frozen lough was a very special experience, and to share it with the sheep in the field behind made it even more fantastic. The location is stunning and there is so much to do in the local area. The house has everything you could want and every room is comfortable and well laid out. We had our three year old with us and he loved to be able to go over to the swings and the play house as well as throwing stones onto (rather than into) the frozen lough. This is an amazing site in an beautiful location. If anything it should be a 5+ stars! Rating 5 out of 5, Andrew, Dec 2010.

These cottages are to the highest standard with every detail taken care of both inside and out.
Lovely play area for the children, great walks and plenty of open space for the kids to 'let off steam' and have a really fun time. Lots of books and DVD and the cottage we were in had 2 TVs. Cots and stair gates available. Kitchen fitted and kitted out with everything that is needed for a family holiday. I would highly recommend these cottages for a short break or longer holiday - I doubt if you would get better any where. Rating 5 out of 5, Sandra, Oct 2010.

Excellent accommodation and location, I have just returned from a weekend in Clover cottage with friends but would definitely return with my husband and three children. The property is a home from home, all you need to bring is your food. Rating 5 out of 5, Claire, Oct 2010.

Bluebell Cottage: this property is situated in the lakelands of Co Fermanagh. It is perfect for a relaxing break. It has stunning views over Lough Erne.It is a three bedroom property and is finished to a very high standard and adapted for disabled visitors with a downstairs bedroom with spacious en suite bathroom. It is one of four cottages which are very well spaced out in a woodland/lakeside setting. It is extremely well thought out with spacious rooms and very well equipped. The kitchen has everything you would need to cater for family cooking and is perfect for everyone to sit round the table eating and chatting. If the weather is good there is a BBQ available. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure that the the needs of everyone are catered for including a large flat screen TV/DVD in the living room and another TV in the kitchen. There is a proper wooden cot and stair gates and games and DVD'S for the children. It is very suitable for families or adults. There is an on site play area
with lovely walks and the use of a hot tub. There is lots to see and plenty to do in Fermanagh. As well as water activities you can visit the Marble Arch Caves and numerous National Trust properties. The scenery is breathtaking and having a lovely cottage to come back to at the end of the day is just perfect. Rating 5 out of 5, Doreen, Oct 2010.

The cottages are really comfortable and in a lovely setting. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into what people will need whilst visiting these self catering cottages and nothing has been overlooked, from the dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer down to the egg timer. We had no complaints whatsoever and will definitely be revisiting. Oh! the hot tub is a lovely touch. Rating 5 out of 5, Derek & Christine, Oct 2010.

Very well appointed especially including the view from the bluebell cottage on the site. friendly service. Rating 5 out of 5, Werner, Sep 2010.

Fantastic setting, play area for kids, lots of space to run about. The cottages are in a secure area with private access and safe for children to play. Rating 5 out of 5, Sharon, Sep 2010.

Very modern, clean and comfortable. Rating 5 out of 5, Avril, Aug 2010.

The Farm Cottage is in a superb tranquil location on the edge of Lough Erne but still highly accessible to all major attractions and locations within the county including those in the Irish Republic especially within Donegal. The Cottage was extremely clean and well equipped(including access to a hot tub!) and the staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble whatever the time of day.The welcome pack was far superior to any we have had before and even included home made baking. The information pack was also extremely informative and included everything to enhance the holiday experience. We were a family of four with children aged 11yrs and 14 yrs and would definitely avail of these cottages again and would highly recommend them. Without question worth the 5* rating. Rated 5 out of 5, Darren, Aug 2010.

My family and I stayed at delightful Farm Cottage for a week - lovely accommodation in amidst quiet and peaceful farm land with good views. Highly recommended for families and adults alike. Rating 5 out of 5, Ken, Aug 2010.

These 5* Cottages are exactly that...5 star! The cottages are situated at the top of Lough Erne close to Boa Island and we found them ideally placed to be able to access both the attractions on the Lough as well as the West coast towns and beaches like Bundoran and Rossnowlagh. We stayed in Bluebell Cottage and everything is immaculate. The cottages are spotless and very well equipped. Highly recommended. Rating 5 star out of 5, Alan, Aug 2010.

We had a lovely stay. The cottages were really well kitted out (cooking, relaxing, dining with friends) and very comfortable. Views were amazing. We would stay again and happily take the rest of the family next time! Rating 5 star out of 5, C. Chipperfield, Aug 2010.

This property has excellent space and facilities. It is beautifully appointed and situated in stunning surroundings. A fantastic place to "get away from it all" with plenty to see and do for all the family. Lovely log burners and drying facilities so it is excellent at any time of the year, whatever the weather. The locals are very friendly and the cottages are situated within easy reach of the coast and some lovely towns and villages. We had a wonderful time there! Rating 5 star out of 5, Debs, July 2010.

The Irish cottages was everything it said on its website, peaceful, beautiful scenery and a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Based on Lough Erin it was excellent the whole family enjoyed it. The accommodation was out of this world, Noreen and John were very friendly and helpful. I have already recommended this holiday to family, friends and work colleagues. Irish cottages is a place that we will be visiting again next year and hopefully for many years to come. Rating 5 star out of 5, Theresa, July 2010

Irish Cottages is a fabulous place for a holiday 'away from it all'. The cottages are extremely well furnished and everything you should need is there for you. You are welcomed warmly on arrival and nothing is too much trouble for staff to sort out for you. I would recommend Irish Cottages to anyone who is looking for a 5* self-catering holiday in beautiful Irish countryside. Rating 5 out of 5, Rowena, July 2010.

This is a group of three gorgeous self catering cottages in Ireland. They overlook and are right next to Lough Erne, perfect for launching a kayak and fishing. The cottages are beautiful, so relaxing and genuinely 5 star quality. The attention to detail in the cottages is amazing - the kitchen is better equipped than mine, the flowers and wine and welcome pack on arrival a lovely touch! And the kids loved it (there is a small play area and lots of space!). We had grand plans to go out and ended up relaxing on the patio, kayaking from the cottage and not getting out of bed until midday (unheard of with children!!!)If you go, take a glass of wine to the hot tub. It's divine. Rating 5 star out of 5, Ruth, July 2010.

Wonderful cottages, they have everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the bedrooms, a perfect getaway. A welcome pack is also provided to get you started. And what can I say about the hot tub so relaxing. If you enjoy the water the cottages sit on the edge of the Lough. We brought canoes and a windsurf with us and had so much fun out on the water. Also to wake up in the country with a couple of sheep watching you make your breakfast on the BBQ was really something else. I could go on and on. We will hopefully be back every year. Rating 5 star out of 5, Louise, July 2010.

Lovely well equipped cottages situated in the picturesque Boa Island. Lovely quiet rural location just ideal for a quiet break away from it all. Cottages are very comfortable and spacious with everything you will need throughout your stay. Lovely welcome pack provided on arrival. Would highly recommend for a family break. Rating 5 out of 5, The Gregg Family, July 2010.

Excellent location with both lakes, stunning countryside, beautiful coastline all within easy reach. John and Family go out of their way to make your holiday work for you. The accomodation is excellent and is even better than the photographs. Everything to maximise your holiday has been thought of from picnic sets to umbrellas just in case of Irish showers. Each traditional cottage is set to maximise views and yet maintain your own privacy. One visit will not be enough. Rating 5 star out of 5, Mike, July 2010.

The entire weekend in Fermanagh was amazing, the grounds the cottages are situated are fantastic, beautiful setting, views, vibe and feel to the place. from the jacuzzi, to fishing off the wee jetty, I can’t describe how much my family enjoyed themselves, we still talk about it today it was that good. Both occasions of visiting the cottages the management were so helpful and kind, everything you can think of was there within the cottages. They really would bend over backwards for you and your family. The cottages are so luxurious and fantastic for group of friends or family for all year round occasions. We'll certainly be heading back over in the near future. Rating 5 out of 5, Richard, July 2010.

Beautifully presented, scrupulously clean, thoughtfully kitted out cottage. Friendly, helpful hosts available at the end of a phone. Beautiful countryside, quiet roads, friendly locals. Walking and riding along gorgeous beaches and through lovely countryside. We had a really relaxing holiday in October. Rating 5 out of 5, Alison, July 2010.

Picturesque tranquility! Quiet and beautiful surroundings. We wish we could have stayed much longer! Very comfortable and exceptionally clean. We hope to be back some day soon. Rating 5 out of 5, James & Jane, July 2010.

Fantastic place to stay for large groups with loads of space on the shores of Lough Erne. Will definitely be going back. Rating 5 out of 5, Vilas, July 2010.

Beautiful location; peaceful; astounding tranquility; very tastefully furnished; within easy reach of places to visit; welcoming staff; stunning lakeside views; comfortable regardless of season; feeling of quality & luxury. Rating 5 out of 5, Keith, July 2010.

An excellent venue - wonderfully appointed cottages with state-of-the-art facilities & decor for a really relaxing break at reasonable cost. Great service and support and a beautiful part of Ireland to explore. Well worth a visit. Rating 5 out of 5, David, July 2010.

I brought a group of 15 friends over from Bristol to the Fermanagh Lakeland, where we stayed in three cottages on the Irish Cottages site. We were all really impressed with the warm welcome and the size & quality of the accommodation. The situation of these cottages is simply out of this world, with lough side access and splendid views across Lower lough Erne. I also caught a brown trout, and a 6lb pike off one of their fishing jetties! Rating 5 out of 5, Darren, July 2010.

John Lowry and his team have a beautiful, quiet, secure site with the most comfortable, well equipped and well maintained self catering accommodation any of my party have ever stayed in. The warmth of the hospitality and the support given were second to none. Our stay was luxurious but also great value. The surrounding area is full of activity and potential for all ages, provided you have your own transport, plenty of day trips are easy to arrange. We would come back without a doubt. Rating 5 out of 5, Alison, July 2010.

Having done extensive research about Irish cottages we decided to book Farm Cottage for a week in June.My partner uses an electric wheelchair and after several communications we decided this was perfect for us. John couldn't have been more helpful and when we arrived we certainly weren't disappointed. Everything was as it said it was on the website. We only had to raise the bed as we use a hoist, other than that we had no problem. This stunning property has everything you could wish for and I'm sure if you needed anything that wasn't there every effort would be made to accommodate you. This property won't disappoint and the only feeling you will have when leaving is regret. Rating 5 out of 5, Erik & Jacqueline, July 2010.

I cannot recommend these cottage highly enough. We have been staying here now for a couple of years. Like my sister and husband who also book regularly, we have a young family and these cottages are absolutely ideal for families. Very safe, away from the road, lovely play area for the kids to enjoy and the cottages themselves are absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean, modern and spacious with everything you could need and more. They even have a lovely hot tub for guests to enjoy. We stayed in March this year and have already booked for November again as they are extremely popular. If you want a relaxing break with stunning views and 5 star accommodation, these well maintained cottages will not disappoint in fact you will end up recommending them to families and friends like I have done. Rating 5 out of 5, Sarah & Noel, July 2010.

Fantastic 5* houses: a real home away from home. Great for families: house very child friendly, super purpose built play area, property secure and away from roads. Location good base for both Donegal & Fermanagh holidays. You are really well looked after by John and his team: happy to help with ideas for holiday. Would definitely recommend- and have done so already to family & friends. Rating 5 star out of 5, Michael, July 2010.

We had a fantastic time. The cottages are beautiful and everything is to a very high standard. The location is peaceful but perfect for exploring the whole of Northern Ireland. Rating 5 out of 5, Tess, July 2010.

The spacious 3 bedroom cottage is modern, with extremely tasteful furnishings. The design is first rate, and the kitchen equipped with everything one needs, and all appliances work as new. Spotlessly clean. It is in a small complex, so there are neighbours, but not on top of one. A nice open aspect, with views of the lake, and a patio to enjoy the good weather we had, or a nice light sitting room for evenings, and possible rainy days. All the staff worked hard to make sure our stay in June 2010 was very enjoyable. Looking at the price of similar cottages, this one is a very fair price, and well worth it. This area of Ireland is a lovely mix of open country side, the big lake, and not far from the coast. Rating 5 out of 5, Michael, July 2010.

The cottages have a 5 star rating and in our opinion is fully deserved. The accommodation is excellent and in perfect decorative order. The setting is ideal for a quiet safe family holiday. The facilities on site including the hot tub and playground are a great hit with the children. The customer service on site is very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. We have stayed two years in a row and would certainly recommend to anyone. Rating 5 star out of 5, Bbell, July 2010.

I would have no hesitation in recommending The Irish Cottages. I have never stayed in such well equipped and luxurious self catering accommodation - this coupled with the breathtaking surroundings and proximity to beautiful beaches, shopping towns and areas of natural beauty made our stay at the Irish Cottages one which we will repeat many times over. Rating 5 star out of 5, Dana-Marie, July 2010.

We have been to Irish Cottages twice, to Bluebell Cottage and Farm Cottage. Both are great properties with wonderful facilities. It is such a lovely area, ideal for a quiet family holiday. We definitely recommend these cottages if you are looking to stay around Lough Erne. Rating 5 star out of 5, Ian, July 2010.

From start to finish our stay was a well managed, top quality experience. The owners has thought of everything to make our stay comfortable from a welcome hamper to wood and turf for the fire. The Cottages are finished to the highest of standards and are in a brilliant location overlooking the lakes and a stones throw from the border with Co Donegal. I would genuinely recommend the cottages to anyone. Rating 5 out of 5, Chris, July 2010.
