Property Summary (WA004)
Broadhaven Self Catering Holiday Apartment - Our popular self catering holiday apartment in Broadhaven, Pembrokeshire is ideal for families wanting a seaside holiday because it is just 250 yards from the lovely sandy beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It is right in the middle of the small seaside resort and half a mile from beautiful Little Haven. It is an excellent base for those wanting to visit Skomer to see the Puffins or for walkers keen to explore the sheltered St Brides Bay. The apartment sleeps 4 and is exceptionally child friendly but is not suitable for dogs. We opened in 2002 and since then have had hundreds of very satisfied visitors many of whom return every year to visit Broadhaven or Little Haven, both well known for its friendly pubs with a choice of freshly cooked food and real ales. On the doorstep are several very good places to eat and drink including the newly opened Ocean cafe Bar and restaurant 2 minutes walk away which has free WIFI.
This Broadhaven holiday accommodation is a first floor two bedroom apartment which is very well equipped with plenty of mod cons eg tumble drier, washing machine, dishwasher and a large fridge freezer. With two bedrooms it comfortably sleeps 4 and a travel cot can be used in either bedroom. There is a TV and DVD in the lounge plus plenty of children’s games, videos, puzzles and books.
Broadhaven is situated in the Pembrokeshire National Park designated in 1952; this status brought with it a measure of protection to a coastline and landscape regarded as one of the finest in Europe. St Brides Bay is much loved by locals and visitors who visit Pembrokeshire to enjoy the hills, the lakes, the mountains and of course the sea and magnificent coastline. No place within the Park is more than 10 miles from the sea.
One of the best ways to see the park is to walk along the coast path which stretches from Amroth in the south, through Broadhaven and on for a total of 185 miles to Poppit Sands near Cardigan in the north. It is home to many thousands of sea birds for example the famous puffins.
Near Broadhaven beach are many seals and a little further out you may see dolphins and porpoises. In 2005 hundreds of dolphins and many whales including fin whales were seen off the Pembs coast. We ourselves were lucky enough to see over 150 dolphins near Grassholm. If you appreciate nature at its best then you may love a visit to Pembrokeshire and staying at 39 Puffin House is we believe an excellent choice for a seaside self catering holiday in Broadhaven. |

Andy and Jill "Another lovely winter break at this holiday apartment in Pembrokeshire. Whilst the puffins and still away at sea the Oystercatchers and Shags have centre stage. Best viewed with binoculars from the cliffs although we found a pair of Oystercatchers performing on the shoreline at low tide on Broadhaven beach. Everything at the apartment was as fine as always - thanks!"
Ray and Tracy - "Lovely flat shame we're only here for a weekend break - not long enough! We will just have to come back!!"
Said B,M,J and E from Bath."The holiday apartment is lovely.....we've had terrible weather but still enjoyed Folly Farm, Carew castle and lots more - children loved the toys and books." | |
