Self Catering Holiday Cottages, Penally, Tenby - Manor Cottages offer Individual self catering holiday cottages in Penally, adjacent to the cheerful holiday resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot in the heart of South Pembrokeshire "Little England Beyond Wales". Penally is a picturesque village with panoramic views across the golf course and Giltar Point to Carmarthen Bay. The self catering holiday cottages are graded 4 star by Visit Wales and all within the exclusive grounds of our Grade 2 Listed, Gothic style, Penally Manor House. Extending to approximately 4.5 acres of predominantly woodland with spectacular sea views to the Gower, Worms Head, Caldey Island and Tenby. The Manor is in the Penally Conservation area and central to the village. There is a village store, 2 local Pubs both serving food, a Restaurant, a Fine Country House Hotel and the railway station. Tenby Town Centre is 2 kms from the Manor by Road or a pleasant walk across the Golf Course and along The Sandy South Beach, 10 minutes easy walking to Beach.
Garden Cottage: sleeps 7 + 2 cots and is a character Holiday Apartment previously part of The Manor House. There are three en-suite bedrooms and a small box bedroom off the lounge that has a log effect fire, Digital TV and DVD. The large Kitchen has a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The Bungalow: sleeps 6 + cot in three bedrooms. This detached bungalow has panoramic sea views over Caldey Island and across the bay to The Gower Peninsula and worms Head. The lounge is equipped with LCD TV, plus pause live TV and Record facilities, DVD and log effect electric fire. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Outside, the garden has furniture and a BBQ. WiFi internet and ethernet cable access available.
The Coach House: sleeps 5 + cot in three bedrooms. This refurbished stone cottage dates from circa 1842 and has sea views to Caldey Island from both double rooms, sun balcony, kitchen, lounge and patio. There is a TV, DVD, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Cooke's Villa: sleeps 5 + cot in three bedrooms. This character penthouse apartment was previously part of The Manor House and has panoramic sea views. The lounge/dining room has a 26" Digital LCD TV, with Pause live TV and record facilities, DVD and the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Fuchsia Cottage: sleeps 2 + cot and is a self contained wing of the Manor with panoramic sea views. There is a TV and Digi box, washer/dryer and dishwasher.
The Grapes: sleeps 2, ideal for grand parents or the extended family and is a detached Cottage in the grounds of the Manor House. There are views across to Caldey Island from the enclosed Patio. There is a digital LCD TV, DVD, dishwasher and washer dryer. WiFi and ethernet internet access available. | |

The Bungalow: We have holidayed at the Manor Cottages about 5 times and have stayed in most of the properties that make up this impressive development. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful and the accommodation is comfortable and always clean. The Bungalow itself has the most impressive views and is nice and cosy after a day out.The walk along the beach to Tenby from Penally is fabulous and Penally itself is a lovely village with shop and pub which serves good family food. The Cottages are a great base to explore the area whatever the weather. Rating 5 out of 5, The McGregors, received Apr 2012.
Coach House: Tenby is a fabulous place for a family holiday. There is a great range of activities for young families making this a holiday to remember. Manor Cottages has been a fabulous base for us on numerous occasions. I would highly recommend this'd accommodation whatever time of the year you wish to visit. We had a lovely week in Cookes Villa. Every single day was very hot and sunny. The views are superb, the accommodation was spotlessly clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We have booked again for next year but will be staying in the Garden Cottage. Penally is a lovely small village, not far from Tenby. We have just returned from a 5 day Easter break staying in Cooke’s Villa and can only agree that the views are spectacular. We loved taking the bikes and there is a great off road family trail from nearby Saundersfoot to Stepaside. We also loved the nearby beach at Barafundle and had a great day at Folly Farm. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable although the kitchen is a little small if you wanted to cook a full family meal, all in all a lovely part of the country, Rating 4.5 out of 5, Lucilla (yes, editor), Apr 2010.
Great location in the heart of Pembrokeshire close to Tenby. Lovely coastal walks direct from property. Stunning views from lounge and master bedroom. Property very well appointed and comfortable. We have stayed at Manor Cottages three times and are going back again in August 2010. All of the properties are comfortable and well-equipped. The owners are very hospitable and friendly. Penally is a pretty village with a local shop and pub. From Manor Cottages, it is a 10 minute walk down to the beach, which is clean and perfect for children. Manor Cottages is also a good base for travelling further afield. Tenby is a lovely, old-fashioned seaside town. There are some stunning beaches, particularly at Barafundle Bay and Broad Haven South. If you want a family holiday (but without the crowds of Devon and Cornwall!), this is the place to go. Rating 5 out of 5, Lelah, Feb 2010. |

Brilliant! we’ve had a fantastic two weeks, very impressed with how well equipped the Bungalow is plus very helpful owners and family. Wonderful peaceful spot with beautiful views. Have enjoyed the wonderful beaches – Broad haven being a favourite. Thank you we will certainly recommend you, I am sure we will be back.
This is our third visit to Manor Cottages and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. Garden Cottage is well equipped and wonderfully spacious (The children loved it!!). Visited some new beaches – Barafundle and Broad Haven South are stunning. Thank you for a great holiday – see you again soon!.
