Make a Family Holiday Recommendation for self catering family friendly holiday cottages, gites, chalets or hotels
LEAVE A RECOMMENDATION FOR ONE OF OUR HOLIDAY PROPERTIES
Recommended Family Holidays places great emphasis on recommendations for family holidays - some of the best holidays I have ever had are those recommended by somone else, like me, who knows what makes a good family holiday. We capture this view on the website and actively encourage anyone to make a recommendation by filling in the form below.
The recommendations have 2 benefits: other people find recommendations extremely useful - the more recommended a property, the more prominent it is on the website and hence the more popular - the good old "snowball effect".
There are two ways we seek out these recommendations, by direct recommendations to our website and also by asking for feedback via email following a guest visiting one of our featured properties.
However, unlike some of our competitors, if we receive a poor review, we carry out a full investigation to ensure that it is not a malicious review, prior to publishing - we don't just publish as this could destroy someone's business and if it's not true, we won't publish

Clydey Holiday Cottage - Very child friendly but managing to cater extremely well for adults at the same time. Great soft play area for children with sofa’s, magazines and hot drinks for adults, we switched off whilst the children played! Pack less as the pool has every toy you would need plus baby facilities including spare nappies if you are caught short The animal feeding is great fun, Malcolm hands each child a cup of food and makes sure they all have a turn to feed the animals, it’s a lovely hour and not rushed at all Overall Clydey had a very comfortable, relaxed feel and enough activities to keep the children occupied in all weathers. La Garenne: We can't recommend this gite complex highly enough. The setting is stunningly beautiful, amid sunflowers and fields of corn, there is no traffic, no noise from planes...in fact the only noise you'll hear is that of your kids having a brilliant time. The large gated grounds are so safe, and filled with rope swings, slides, a trampoline, table tennis and toys for all ages, plus a seperately fenced in pool. All of the gites are beautifully decorated in Scandi/French farmhouse style with really comfortable beds and crisp white linen. The Hobson family welcome everyone like old friends and are a mine of information on the local region with fantastic advice on which days out suit which age children and exactly how far away things are. Even the dog and cat are a delight! There are lovely woodland walks, a great welcome BBQ, a weekly kids club and a charming local town with a weekly market. What more could you want?! In addition, here is a recommendation that I have been sent for a property in the West Indies - we don't feature it, but I thought you might like to know about it all the same!!
The Hermitage, Nevis, West Indies. I wanted to let you know of a lovely place on the Caribbean island of Nevis called The Hermitage. The accommodations are charming, West Indian cottages that lead out into gardens that are a child's delight. It's warm and beautiful and the best part is that it's so child friendly, children can wander. They will be safe. They will be welcomed. Mums and dads can relax. The hotel will do earlier seatings for children. Babysitters can be had, but 3 cottages are literally steps from the dining porch so you can safely put your children to bed, dine with your partner and be able to see the door to your cottage to know all is well. It's just a very carefree, hands on holiday for children. Yes, there are beautiful beaches nearby. There are animals to be seen: horses, pigs, ducks, goats, sheep, dogs, cats if you'd like. Just wanted to mention it as a great family holiday.
