Nestled in 14 acres of meadows and farmlands in a stunning riverside setting are these self catering gites in the Dordogne. The Gites and B&B are renovated Perigordine stone farmhouses tucked away in a rural setting with swimming pool and Bed and Breakfast in a secluded location yet only 2km from shops at Montignac and Lascaux caves in the Dordogne, 25 minutes from Sarlat . With magnificent views of lush cornfields and open countryside, a swimming pool and 450 meters of private river fishing onsite, this is a haven of peace and tranquility in rural France.

Our Bed and Breakfast house (Villa Orchidee) offers 5 rooms as B&B and we offer self catering accommodation in our Dordogne Gites, available for rent all year. We can accommodate up to 28 guests and our Gites, which sleep 5, 8 or 15, can be rented individually or in tandem, allowing you to holiday in the Dordogne together and still maintain your privacy.

These self catering gites in the Dordogne are ideal for families, with facilities onsite to amuse children of all ages including: covered play area with table tennis, basketball net, boardgames; outdoor play area with swings, climbing frame, football net, badminton net; swimming pool (fenced and alarmed); boundaries to the river are fenced to limit access to the river; highchairs, booster seat, baby bath available; Wifi in hotspots; babysitting; conveniently located with a 10 min drive to shops, restaurants, bank and chemist; local area is great for walking and cycling - you can walk to a shop near us which rents bikes.

Villa Hibiscus: Sleeps 7/ 8 is a beautiful Perigordian stone house facing southeast, with stunning views of surrounding cornfields from the bedroom window on one side and a view of the courtyard on another. This is a bright and airy house sleeping 8 offered for holiday rental all year comprising 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, with separate lounge ,dining area, kitchen and a garden outside. The spacious main bedroom is decorated in traditional French antique furniture, with a sleigh double bed and mahogany wardrobe.

Villa Mimosa: Sleeps 5 - Villa Mimosa is a charming stone cottage facing southeast, with stunning views of the river, swimming pool and surrounding cornfields from the bedroom window. This child friendly Dordogne holiday home (gite) near Montignac is cozy and comfortable and benefits from having its own private patio on the side and a spacious bathroom with a shower and a bath, ideal for families with very young children.

Villa Orchidee: Sleeps 15 - is a 6 bedroom Perigordian stone house for 15 people. This Dordogne gite has 2 triple rooms, 2 double rooms and a family room, all ensuite, ideal for several families or group of friends wishing to holiday together. The rooms are spacious and are in the ground and first floor. Two rooms have their own private entrance leading directly onto the courtyard

Bed and Breakfast accommodation is also offered all year round.

I didn’t know much about your area of France - but it is magical. Your setup of the 2 gites (Villa Hibiscus and Villa Mimosa alongside each other) also suited us down to the ground for our family re-union-giving us the opportunity to holiday together but still keep our privacy in our individual villas.
